Day 32

Well the move is over and I am about dead from all the work. It is bad enough moving into a empty house. but worse moving into a stuffed one. I managed to crave out a little room to add two beds in the living room and a few chairs in the dining room, and clean the kitchen and bathroom, but the cleaning continues as the days go by.

Day 31

I am plum wore out and tired from trying to clean out one house, so I can move in. I have been juggling things from room to room, but now much throw things out to make room to store other things. The kitchen is shaping up nicely, but the rest of the rooms are utterly a mess. If I can give any advice to anyone, I would say don't save and collect to much stuff, and if you do then start cleaning it out now and don't safe the job for someone else. It is a horrible gift to pass on. Hoarding is a sickness, and you can refuse it now before it takes hold of you later in old age.

Day 30

Here I am again on a slow road to recovery, of my sanity. Caring for my mom has really pushed my physical and mental condition to high alert red, in other words I am not getting enough rest or enough sleep. I walk around groggy and plum worn out from her care, as well as, from the attempt to get her house in order so we can move back into it.

Day 29

I have been so busy of late just trying to care for my mom and also hiring people to do work on her house and yard, that I am a little burnt out by it all.

I hear so many of you wanted to loose weight. I might suggest try taking care of a elderly parent or grandparent. The constant errands and daily care, and getting through the days of their meanness and whims of fancy, depression and hearing voices, will most certainly cause you to lose weight or gain 600 pounds from over eating just to avoid pulling your hair out. :) lol

Day 28

A bit of humor to brighten your days!

Dear Friends,
I have become 60 years old since I saw you last, and a few changes have come into my life since then. Frankly, I have become quite a frivolous gal.

I am seeing five gentlemen every day!

As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed. He leaves and I go see John. Then Charley Horse comes along and when he is here he takes a lot of my time and attention.

Day 27

Today I had a nice cheerful lady come to my door who claimed she was the advertising lady for a new business that was opening in our town. She claimed that they were randomly handing out coupons for free cleaning of one room and there new cleaning business would also include repairing sweepers.

Her job was to run my sweeper in one room and for this I was given a large bottle of dawn dish liquid as a gift. She claimed to have a limited time to hand out the coupons, but she would return in 10 minutes to run my sweeper for me.

Day 26

Today, was one of those days that I should have stayed in bed. By the time I get someone up and fed for the morning, I have very little time for me. The morning starts for someone at 10:00am, but I get up at 8:00am just to have a bit of free time to relax. Then lunch is at 1:00pm, for someone because they got up late. Since I am chief cook and bottle washer, I make lunch and wash dishes.

Then a hour or so, is spent running errends or cleaning house or trying to watch a favorite movie of which someone hates and sits and glares at me all through the movie.

Day 25

Tonight I am depressed. My new diet has gone astray do to my caretaker duties. Just when I thought I could improve my life, it has become so busy that there is no time for experimenting with new foods. It is hard enough reinventing the wheel, as they say, when good easy to chew foods must be cooked everyday.

Tonight I make a stir-fry of fresh mushrooms and onions, and green veggies. But some nights it is something that I know I should not eat, but cooking two different meals takes to long and wears me out.

Day 24

I got to thinking the other day that in sharing we may expose ourselves to danger in the form of letting others know where we live and what medications we take. I am suggesting that you remove the city in which you live and replace it with stars. (above #8 on your keypad).

In this day and age, where people are searching for something free we don't want our members to worry about their personal safety or having there homes invaded.

Day 23

My life has become so full of long weary days and restless nights. Since I am now the full-time caregiver for my mom, I no longer have the extra time to pamper me. I find myself rushing from one chore to the next and when I get in the mood to slow down and watch a movie, it now has to be a quiet and wholesome one without any loud music or good plot in order that it does not bother mom.
