Thursday the 11th

Morning everyone...weather is really nice right now in Orlando and great for putting up Christmas decorations and going out to shop.

So my fibro has settled into my upper back, neck and shoulders for the last two weeks..crampy, achy and miserable...I am surprised my skin hasn't come off in the shower from my attempts to use the force of the water to break up the shoulder spasms.

My hair stylist had recommended the massage spa located next store to her salon so I decided to try a 30 minute chair massage this past Sunday. This place was a trip...once you walk in past the reception area, you are greeted by very low blue lighting and what can best be described as a sea of comfy sofa/lounge chaises (none of the typical spa chairs you see at a mani/pedi salon).

A man dressed in Chinese pajamas (for lack of a better description) greeted me and directed me to a chair. He had me sit on the ottoman, stood behind me and proceeded to work over my neck, shoulders and back until I felt like a noodle. He then had me sit in the chair and proceeded to massage my feet and legs for about the last 10 minute of my 30 minute back rub (still trying to figure that one out but it felt good). Oh and while he was working on my back, my feet were soaking in water.

If I had all the money back that I have spent on trying to feel better from this fibro, I could have an awesome vacation somewhere..LOL!

Anyway, today I have got to go shopping and try to find something to wear to a company Christmas party...oh lord..give me strength!!!

I hope you all are taking care of yourselves during this stressful, busy time...remember to keep Christ in Christmas and let everything else fall where it may...it will all work out!

Hugs.
