Husband looking for help understanding

I don't understand what it feels like to have fibromyalgia and its sad. I hate hearing that she is hurting all the time. I get she is hurting but to hear it everyday day multiple times is destroying us. I don't want to sound selfish but we cant even be intimate anymore.
