I hope somebody can help me with this ASAP! I have been open and honest with my employer regarding my symptoms and trying to get a diagnosis. I have finally been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The HR person faxed a job duties list to my doctor and wants him to check off what I can and can't do. As we all know with fibro, it's a day to day thing. I am only asking them that on the days that are bad, I would like to do less physical/mental things. There is availability for this at my job. The doctor did send a note saying what I have, the treatment plan and that I am under his care. He does not feel comfortable with filling out the job duties list since it's fibro. This is getting nasty and I want to be able to tell the HR person that they have all they need to know if that's true. The HR person has hounded me from day one and is hounding me on my day off! Please advise! I also have a call into a lawyer. Thanks everyone!
