That is the hardest part to be honest, keep the head clean in order to fight this.

@KeishaCopeland brings up a good point about pride. Especially when we've been self-sufficient, self-supporting adults for years, it's difficult to give that up, and admit that we can't do it all, and that we need help. I still have difficulty with that. My family doesn't believe in disabilities, and will not help when I need assistance, which people down here don't understand. It's a different mindset, and I have difficulty comprehending it myself, because I've always been the first one to help anyone in need, and would be happy to help my family members if I were able and they were in need. I never realized how proud I was of my ability to be independent, until it was taken away from me.
