I am a teen with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Daily Headaches, and Chronic low back pain from a golf injury. This is the most effective combo i have tried thus far and has provided me with over 80% pain relief so far. This includes 25mg Morphine Sulfate, 5mg Nabilone, 120mg Dextromethorphan, 100mg Orphenadrine Citrate, 3grams Cannabis Indica /w portable Pax by Ploom vaporizer.(These cannabis doses are that of 3 years of daily use, Also please DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, many Fibromyalgia patients have high glutamate and low dopamine in there cns which i am trying to reverse through pharmacological intervention.

T=8:00AM + 60mg Dextromethorphan 8hr Robitussin DM liquid gels + 5mg Morphine Sulfate tablet + 1mg Nabilone capsule + 500mg Cannabis Indica vaporized

T=12:00PM + 5mg Morphine Sulfate + 1mg Nabilone + 500mg Cannabis vaporized

T=4:00PM + 60mg Dextromethorphan + 5mg Morphine Sulfate + 1mg Nabilone + 500mg Cannabis vaporized

T=8:00PM + 5mg Morphine Sulfate + 1mg Nabilone + 500mg Cannabis vaporized

T=10-12PM + 100mg Orphenadrine Citrate + 5mg Morphine Sulfate + 1mg Nabilone + 500mg Cannabis vaporized

any questions please feel free to post in this thread and i will try to reply when possible. I will also be updating my dosage and medication combination when changes occur or if pain levels markedly decrease or increase.

Be careful your young your body becomes accustom to anything you do. This is a long time problem, no quick fixes or perfect combination of drugs. I've tried it all, in many combinations. Use as few drugs as you can to keep away the brain fog.

I have to agree with Lainee, The drug combo sounds very serious. It doesn't take long for the body to acclimate to drugs, esp. pain killers. This could very well be a lifetime of juggling. I know it doesn't sound helpful or hopeful but I'd advise caution and am glad you are wise to research things for yourself as well. I find we have to help educate the doctors as we are all so different in our needs and reactions. Please let us hear how you are doing. Take care!

Wow that's a lot of meds, and here's me at 41 worrying I take a few tramadol and paracetamol. I no we all might sound unserporstive but u are young to be on so much meds.
We know only to well how painful this is. What exercise do u do .? Pls feel free to join in the chat we do have a few young ppl come in what end of the teens are u 13 or 19 lol .

tramadol ups the siezure threshold and lots of the recomended anti depressants put me worse off by making the chemical imbalances in my brain worse, also the nmda antagonist ketamine has been used to completely get rid of complex regional pain syndrome and fibromyalgia, the nmda antagonists lower glutamate which causes the cycle of neuropathic pain, also low dopamine is a key component of the analgesic pathways in your cns which dont wrk properly because of low dopamine, this is why i would like to switch from diagnosedm to memantine because D2 receptor antagonism can cause hyperalgesia and memantine being a D2 agonist will help reduce the grey matter deterioration caused by low dopamine in fibromyalgia patients, also i have only had pain before taking meds in the morning and when the diagnosedm wears off at night but because of the orphenadrine citrate it is also an nmda antagonist that relaxes me better then even Diazepam (Valium), also my doctors would rather have me on hydromorphone then morphine but i refused that because of the short half life. I am very greatful for your concern, also i am 16 and i go to physio which i am now able to go on the excercise bike without dying in pain like the last time before adding diagnosedm. also i walk about 2-4 hours a day. Also i only have 2-4% of the pain i had a few days ago before adding the diagnosedm for daytime, which as you fibro patients know is HUGE, my chronic low back pain has been so minimal that its only rlly an issue if i over exert myself, and my chronic daily headaches are no longer an issue at all, and because of nmda receptors playing a role in opiate tollerance i will not have to increase my morphine dosage as fast, i know combinations of medications will not work forever but as new drugs are developed with different pharmacodynamics geared towards parts of the brain associated with fibromyalgia instead of inhibiting the glutamate with anti convulsants, and upping all brain chemicals unselectively with trycylics

I also forgot to mention but i dont get high off the morphine or Dextromethorphan or cannabis because of my dosage and cns depression tollerance, where as oxycodone and hydromorphone both had me nodding off slightly at good analgesic dosages which is why i denied it from my doctor, the diagnosedm had 1 hour of disassociation when i took my first 60mg dose after taking 30mg the day before with slight increase in pain relief and overall symptom reduction, the next morning i tried 45mg then added 15mg after 1 hour because it still wasnt wrking well enough, but 60mg gave me 100% pain relief with 5mg morphine and 1mg nabilone with 500mg cannabis vaporized, i was skipping down my road like a little kid it was pretty awesome, also all my depression has dissipated since then fairly quickly because of having my life back and being able to now do things that i love, also Lainee have you tried a ketamine infusion or memantine in combo with opiates, also Levorphanol is an nmda antagonist opiate and has a little bit of snri activity somewhat like tramadol except no change in siezure threshold, which makes it the most effective option for neuropathic pain, and especially crps and fibromyalgia

Where it says diagnosedm it is supposed to say Dextromethorphan but somehow changed it

My dr has never told me about the risk of siezure with tramadol.but I'm only on four aday max .im never pain free but I beilive a little pain stops u over doing things

I know I am repeating somewhat but that is a lot of meds. O.k. so your not getting high off of all the meds how about the fact that most of that stuff does cause breathing issues because they work on the part of the brain that regulates breathing. Please be careful. Your a smart person, do some more research, and look at more long term sustainable options for pain control. Hope I don't seem too harsh. Good luck...Mike

actually the drugs im taking yes can cause respiratory depression, but with the deap breathing without carbon dioxide through vaping helps and i also walk about 4 hours a day and have only had a little bit of pain here an there since my last post and another fibromyalgia patient i know that i gave some dextromethorphan alone responded very well to it too, also because of my high glutamate levels i dont risk as much side effects of cns depression which is part of the reason i cant get drunk, and valium doesnt do much even at 10mg, also this is most likely the reason i dont get any side effects from ketamine use except moderate dissasociation and complete pain relief, and why dextromethorphan works because of its nmda antagonist effects and also why orphenadrine citrate wrks well to relax me and help me sleep and not wake up achy, but i see where in a common situation it could be an issue, although if your fibromyalgia is caused by high glutamate and low dopamine then as long as you titrate your dose correctly and find the sweet spot then you can ballance your brain chemicals and be close to pain free as i have done, but when i switch from dextromethorphan to memantine i will be able to increase my dopamine at the D2 receptor causing central sensitization to decrease and hopefully be 100% pain free with the right dose

Sorry but this is out of concern. Keep up with all that medication and I will be surprised if your on this planet at 25. Your not super human. You can overdose just like any one else please be careful.

are you sure you have fibro ? i also suffered from severe migraines from 18 to about my late 40's and had a low back injury to when i was 18. but i have only been suffering from fibro since a four years ago..im 63 this year. i didn't get any help from doctors or hospitals for the migraines then. in fact i was made very ill for 6months through a treatment that was not compatible with another i was taking....you dont want to go there.. i got very bad and had to fight depression from my ilness and a divorse..but that was nothing to do with fibro....you say with certain mixes you can feel totally pain free and walk for 2-4 hours...im no specialist. but that sounds wrong..in any case i can only repeat that you should take great care..as you get older you will need more help....unless you can use your youth to fight to get fit again..

My migraines started afetr a car crash when my neck got injured..but was never treated. and my later back
injury gave me scoliosis over years that affected by spine and neck...
Im just saying that you want to be sure of what you really have wrong and use as little of any drug as you can to keep going.part of getting on with fibro whe. you also have osteoathritus and bone degeration like mine the presses onto to spinal chord but thats my worn out bpdy that has been over worked all my life. If you are in your teens im suprised you need this much to feel better and i think its too much. we have to learn how to reduce the pain to an acceptable level without over dosing on powerfull drugs. i will read you texts again tomorrow and try and read between the lines a bit more. I would have loved to be able to walk that far..good luck but try and minimise the dosages to avoid creating addiction or oher complications..colin

I do take the lowest doses possible while keeping my pain at 1% of what it was before, and yes im sure its fibromyalgia, ive done lots of research and have found out which brain chemicals must be balanced to end the pain cycle that occurs due to brain chemical imbalance causing neurotransmitter dysfunction, i will soon be switching from DXM to Memantine because it is voltage dependent and lets the regular flow of glutamate occur while reducing extracellular glutamate and also ups dopamine at the D2 site which works as antihyperalgesic, i am also taking multiple vitamins and amino acids to up serotonin, dopamine,norepinepherine, endorphins, and gaba. this approach gives me 99% pain freedom, i make sure to also meditate and excersize daily and am starting a job in 6 days, and the DXM keeps morphine tollerance from building which is why ive not upped my morphine dose at all. please do research on nmda antagonists and their role in fibromyalgia treatment and also the neurochemical pathology of fibromyalgia.
