Angry prayers please

Hi everybody. I've been dealing with FM for 15 yrs now. Not under control(although, after reading the posts here I don't think FM is ever really under control). Have not found good doctor and finances have been tight all these years.

Anyway, you guys understand how I must be feeling. Add to that pneumonia and on top of that my doctor says there is a mysterious artifact in my left lung found on xray today. She is sending the xrays to a specialist. So I'm left worrying for the weekend.

I did have a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs) on in the left lung 6 yrs ago. I let her know that and she said it may scar tissue from the embolism.
So I looked it up, and apparently this can happen and can cause pulmonary hypertension, which can be very serious and can lead to heart failure!

The symptoms I have all of them but I thought these were issues from FM and also thought I was developing CFS.

Anyway, i'll be worrying all weekend.

Thanks for lending an ear and if anyone has any insight, please reply.

I'll be thinking of you. Try to relax, and I know it can be hard. The good news is that they are now looking at it. Hoping it will be something that less worrisome. Sending love and hugs.

Thank u for your responses. I am feeling better and am taking the kids to a horse show and going out to lunch tomorrow while kids r at grandparents house.

Sometimes just getting out your worries can make u feel better. Its in God's hands now.

When I got sick with fibro and was diagnosed, I was scared about all the future implications. Fibro had messed up all the plans I had made for "my future" and I was worried about how fibro had "changed everything". One thing that helped me was to remember that my getting fibro wasn't a surprise to God like it was to me. If God knew I was going to get fibro and God wasn't freaking out about it, then I didn't need to be scared or freaked out either.

Even though the mysterious artifact on your x-ray is a surprise to you, it's not a surprise to God. God's had a plan in place to get you through this even before you knew you'd be going through this.

Prayers and love and hugs,
Corvid

I have to agree with Corvid. The Fibro has sent me to the Lord often and long, how can this be a bad thing? Glad you are keeping busy while you wait.
Of course I'll pray for you! God bless.

Best of luck to you that this spot on your lung is just scar tissue. I had a scare a few years back that a spot on my lung was cancer, as cancer runs in our family. Mine turned out to be a scar from repeated infections and nothing to worry about. But I know how fear of something worse can cause you to get all nervous and shaky, scared and depressed. I think in this case @ Corvid and @ Ruralchick, have it right, trust in the Lord and keep your thoughts positive for yourself, as well as, your children. We will be praying for everything to turn out on the bright side. Thanks for sharing we all care about you.
