Wink update on xrays

The nurse called and reported that there was nothing on xray.
I don't understand how they could first say there was evidence of pneumonia and something else unknown and now there is NOTHING?.

Okay, I guess i'll quit worrying until I find a good doctor who can truly address my issues.

Thanks to everyone who gave me some support. It means a lot and helped get me through the weekend.

You got some good news. But also if there is a spot on your lung the best way to be sure is a MRI with contrast. An X-Ray, can only see so much but not the complete picture. Are you seeing this doctor again? If so be sure he has checked out this area of your lung as well as expected. Is he a general doctor or a pulmonologist specialist? A good lung doctor, do a web search may be the kind of doctor you need to give you peace of mind.

I just went in as a sick exam since I couldn't get rid of a productive cough. Not my regular.

I need desperately to find the right doctor. I feel like I'm getting bits and pieces across, but not the whole picture.
My frustration is that no one takes the time anymore. Its rush in and out. They work on a 15 min. Appointment schedule and make all their notes in the room.

I can't tell if they r even listening or not and it would take a long time to explain everything I'm feeling.

I don't know how y'all find the right doctors. And how do you get across to them on an initial visit.

I do what to do, but I know I'm drained of all energy, brain fogged, all types of pain and cramps, and depression after 15 yrs of just coping best I can.
I'm getting to my limits, I don't know how you guys always seem to stay so positive.
I know things r happening to me but NOTHING shows up on blood work or anywhere.
I'm going crazy here.

Just being honest.
Best regards

Glad to hear this news.

The only way I can be assured that my doc is hearing me is to go in with a list of questions, most important first. And get an answer. If I don't understand, I ask for an explanation. It may take multiple visits, but you can work your way through the list. I've also made follow-up appointments just to discuss a particular concern. I know that it is frustrating.

Believe me, I don't always feel positive, but I try everyday to find something good. And I do. I was exhausted and in incredible pain this evening after work, so I took some to just sit outside in the dusk. I saw my first spiraling and soaring woodcock of the spring, swooping down to the earth toward his potential mate. It was magical and in those few moments I found enough strength to go back inside, feed my kitties and close down my house for the night knowing that there is potential for a good day tomorrow. Some days it's just moment to moment. However you get there, whatever works for you is just right. Take care.
