My name is Connie. I was diagnosed in June of 1989, after severe infection. I had been helping sand bagging at the time of a flood and got very sick. It was probably from the flood water. I managed to stay pretty active. But now I also have chronic kidney disease and it seems I cannot shake the pain and fatigue. The kidney doctor says this is not from the kidney disease. My family doctor says it is from the fibro. I have trouble with sleep and noise bothers me. I am so glad I found this group.

Welcome Connie...you have found friends who understand on this site and that is saying a lot since non-fibro people have no idea what we go through each and every day. We are all hoping for something that is tailor made for each of us to get our "old" selves back prior to the pain and fatigue...I am truly sorry that you are suffering....wishing you better days ahead and Merry Christmas!
