Hi Lori, welcome. There are a number of things you can try that don't require medical insurance. Walking can do a lot to relieve the pain as long as you don't overdo it. It sounds contradictory, but resting when you are tired is also important. If you have access to a tub, warm baths with Epsom salts help many people. Warm showers are good too. I find that just remembering to take a few deep breaths every so often helps. Anything that reduces stress, like meditation, will also help.
