old

I was up at eight again this morning... headache still there but not quite as bad. I should have been busy again today but by the time I folded up my washing and gone shopping I didn't feel much like doing anything. I pottered about fiddling with a few easy things but didn't do much.
Hubby and me was having a funny conversation about age today. He is seven years my senior and after some Heath issues last year has really embraced diet and fitness and dropped forty pounds, got out of his near fatal blood pressure and got his heartrate to the level of a young athlete. He was telling me how he doesn't feel like a man passed fifty. In fact he hasn't felt this good since his late teens early twenties. I sat there listening to all this thinking how I now feel the complete opposite. Just five years ago I looked good and felt fairly good for my age. Nobody believed I was forty. In just those five short years I feel I have aged twenty. I look in the mirror and wonder who that old lady is.
