Hi my name is Sharon. For the past 5 years i have suffered with migraines and have had CAT scans, MRI'S and blood tests and they can find nothing wrong with me. Anyways this past weekend i for the first time noticed a burning feeling in my hand i know i have had it before but it was bad this weekend so i thought why not look up what it could be. It took me straight to fibromyalgia. It was the as i was reading all about it and the symptoms that i realized all the other things i had been feeling for years were also on this list. so i guess what i am asking is do you all think this could be fibromyalgia? i will list all the issues i have and please give me feedback so i know if i should go to a dr. who specializes in fibromyalgia.

1. Migraines
2. really bad restless legs
3. dry mouth
4.burning and itchiness of extremities
5. nausea
6. constant diarrhea
7. memory/concentration problems which are getting worse
8. stiffness after being in one position for to long
9. always tired even after getting sleeping all night which is rare
10. waking up several times a night for no reason if i can even sleep
11. decreased energy
12. muscle pain off and on and joint pain
13. extremely tender areas

please help me in any way you can! thanks for your time! Have a great day!:-D

Hi Sharon, I am new here so listen to some of the "older" members advice as well, but I would reccomend seeing a rheumatologist or neurologist. The list looks as though it could very well be fibro but fibro has a lot of imposters too. There are tests just to rule out other disorders. There is a new fibro test I have read about but so far it is $700.00. I have also had migraines for years and the burning hand is very much a symptom. I would say some of the most positive indicators are inexplicable muscle pain, burning sensations in different areas of your body, fatigue, among others. Keep reading and doing research and find a doctor that you feel positive and comfortable with. Don't settle for less. Keep us posted and good luck to you. :)

Well done spoty!
Go to the doctors spoty mentioned.
It many take you seeing a few doctors before
You even find one that believes in fibro.
Those symptoms can be many things as well
As fibro. Go to doctors. Call local hospital to get
Names of doctors. They have a program just
For referral. Good luck with doctors!

Do your research on the pressure point test
For fibro. You can have a friend or family member
Push the pressure points for you. Save $700.

Migraine, caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain.
Try smelling sauce. It what they use to revive a boxer
That has been knocked out. I know a family of 6
That live by that treatment. Can't hurt more than the
Migraines.
Do as much research as you can.
Hang in there. Friend me if you want.

thank you everyone i have been to 5 different neurologist in the past year and they do what they can for the migraine pain but its now to the point where
nothing is working. My migraines are daily and last up to 15 days sometimes. I do have a dr very close to me that specializes in fibromyalgia and before i jumped the gun i wanted to see if anyone here could help me in anyway to say yes defiantly sounds like it or no. Thank you all so much for responding to my plea. Sharon
