Is there anyone pregnant and suffering from FM? Common symptoms of FM are usually confused with those of pregnancy resulting in FM going undetected. Women with FM have more symptoms of pregnancy than those without especially in the first 3 months. Doctors recommend that women with FM go off painkillers and antidepressants before pregnancy in consultation with doctors. 20 to 30 minutes of rest and a warm shower before sleeping is recommended. Gentle stretching exercises also help. I wonder if there other interventions. Any suggestions are welcome.

I've had four children .and all with Fibro.for me Fibro went away with each pregnancy .it was wonderful .but after 3months after birth it would come back.
I think it was about 3 months into my pregnancy before the Fibro went.
I can't help with tips as I say it went away, but I'm sure someone will have some good advice :)

I did have a lot lower back pain when I was pregnant, sadly I lost the baby after a couple weeks. My pelvic area was hurting badly though, and my lower back pain was there on a daily basis 24/7. Don't want to imagine what it would be for me to carry a baby til full term. Everything stopped when I miscarried it, I still had some pelvic pain after a while, but the lower back pain was gone. Now I only get it on the first day of my period.

Well, I would not say that it went away, maybe both pains got mixed and you did not even realize of it, I have heard that when the pain is extremly hard one does not get to feel it, maybe that is what happened to you, I do not really know exactly.
