Definition of Doctors: Nothing but the greedy, hoping for the easy life but now Covid's having some fun they complain that they have too much work. I call bullcrap. They cannot have an easy life from now on as the world falls deeper into disarray. Covid 19 will not be the last thing as malnutrition next on the cards of life. Says so in the Bible if anybody's bothered to read it.
There are doctors and other health care professionals who are dedicated and who spend their lives trying to help people. I know some of them. Some I know personally and others I have had as health care people for myself. Some doctors and health care professionals dedicate so much of themselves to trying to help people that they neglect themselves and their own lives in the effort.

It's not true that they are all bad or all out to make money only. They are not all greedy.

It is unfortunate that you have had so many bad experiences that you have become bitter.

But there are good people out there as well, even so. If you had any idea what doctors have had to go through during the pandemic, you would not be so cavalier about this. Some of them worked themselves into exhaustive collapse during the worst of the pandemic because they wanted so much to help everyone. They did have too much work. There were hospitals with people lying on the floor because there were not enough rooms, or beds, or even cots for them, and not enough doctors to go around either. And those who were there frantically trying in 24 hour long shifts, without eating or sleeping themselves, to help everyone and not being able to keep up. A few found such despair at this that they couldn't go on and they committed suicide. That is not the act of someone who is greedy and unfeeling.

I have had terrible experiences with doctors. Horror stories I could tell. Many of us have those. It's enough to turn one's heart to stone, but it is a lot healthier for a person to remember that there are good ones out there too.

Being bitter and angry is stressful for the body. Stress makes fibromyalgia worse.

I didn’t say they were all bad! I said I found 1 doctor…

I wish for just one good doctor. Not here in Nevada! Had an incredible doctor when I lived in Ca. I'd drive there but he has retired.
Yes, the doctors have been stressed due to covid bur so have we and we haven't been nasty. They have! And the nurse! Don't get me started.
RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!

There are for sure problems in the health care industry for both sides. I wish to clarify that cruddy and good experience i referenced were all actually before covid.
My heart has ached for the front line workers during this pandemic and I truly hope I didn't seem insensitive towards them.
My gripe is more so with family practices and although they're all affected by covid they are not front line workers.
And some of my gripe isn't directed to anyone specific.

How can a person defend corrupted ignorance? Further ask how many truly believe “you”. I cannot easily forgive ignorance of pain? Whether visible or not!

It could actually be ignored because most are forgiving their ignorance! That maybe why we are all ignored.

I guess how I feel about ignorance is a bit different. To me, ignorance is not a character flaw or a sin, it's only lack of knowledge or understanding and it can be cured by learning.

I don't think ignorance is anything to forgive or not forgive....because it is not a bad thing about the person. We are all completely ignorant about everything in life until we learn. I can remember attitudes I had when I was very young that make me wince now! But they were ignorant attitudes, not something I had because I was hateful or selfish or something else bad. Once I learned (often from personal experience!) more about whatever the thing was, my attitude and what I said about it changed radically.

Now, if this is willful ignorance, meaning a person has had all the facts given to them and has seen for themselves the truth and still continues to deny it, that is another thing. And I think some doctors are like that, and I don't know why. Some people in all walks of live are like that, and I don't understand it. Maybe some people are so insecure, even if they are highly accomplished in life like being a doctor, that they cannot admit they were wrong. I tend to feel sorry for people like that because they are missing out on learning new things.

And then again, sometimes I will meet someone and be absolutely flabbergasted that they don't know about XYZ. How could they not know about that? But if you don't know, you don't. If you believe something that's not the truth, then that's what you believe.

Of course, I do not associate with the kind of person who is so afraid to be wrong that they will dey the truth if it hits them in the face. If the doctor I go to is that kind of person I don't go back. Many doctors should be more open to learning new things and most of all to believing their patients.

Tell that to 2m+ sufferers here in the uk?
How can 2m sufferers not be a figure of consequence yet treated as a mental disease? That question is not for you or anyone to answer except the British Government. At present there has been a completed investigation into Fibromyalgia here in the UK by NICE. The investigation found something so troublesome for the British Government that it has been stopped from being published. I'm not speculating as to what the reason is but for this Government to issue a stop it really means there is a serious issue for the Government.

I mean for 3% of the UK population to be suffering so much pain and being IGNORED by the NHS is pretty damning of the NHS. That's likely the issue. WE all LOVE the NHS unless they are in that 3%

i also go back a fore bathroom a lot especially at night and I’ve not even drunk very much (sometimes I just feel I want to go, it’s weird)
After having checked that my bladder actually is empty, my urologist called this tenesmus. According to wikipedia the form regarding bladder is usually called "vesical tenesmus", the "feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder following urination" (as opposed to "rectal tenesmus"). "Vesical tenesmus is caused by urogenital diaphragm muscle spasms." The main thing that helped me was drinking soy drink instead of more watery stuff - no scientific explanation possible for that, it was the explanation of an alternative health practitioner when she heard that my skin seems "allergic to water". This fits to involuntary muscle tension etc. and my pain before peeing. My sleep lab psychiatrist thought about it and said as the muscles concerned are involuntary it's hard to do something about it. I used to get up to pee 5-8x a night, now it's 3-5x. I need the getting up anyway tho, it kind of resets my body. However my supp that relax muscles (GABA), and more, has greatly reduced the pee pain. This however sometimes decreases the muscle "pressure", meaning I may sometimes have to go after just having been.
The dreadful thing about having to go so often & under pressure used to be being on a day trip with no place to go in sight. And that still sometimes occurs on bad days, like on a 2-3h (slow) walk a month ago, I think due to it being cold. I had to target trees in time every half an hour...

How cool, it’s got a name! It does sound like some kind of Greek god, there’s annoying init? feeling you need to go all time (wonder how common it is with other fibromates)
I know of someone (not fibro) had steroid injections in ‘that’ area to stop the need to go all the time 😳
💫❤️💫

fibromates
I usually use this for fibromales, but I spose you're not just "a fibromite", you're a fibromate of mine, aintcha? 🤗
My urologist said meds were possible, but not advisable for me.

Aw that’s sad jaycs, your kinda stuck with it, but you are pretty good at finding solutions for things and investigating , and yeah forum fibromates 🤗 it’s all good + the girls can be my forum fibrobuds, (cos it reminds me of flowers) 😆😁😆
