Hi @william brown in an earlier post you mentioned having your nerves burned out + it helped lots, I’ve not heard of a procedure like this before, can I know a bit more about it? I’m a bit of a curious bunny + I like to learn new things 😁

Oh wowsers!! All these things.... I forgot about the CBD oils... Here's my life... Helpful feedback and/or life coach welcomed!! 😬
So, I have been in so much pain-stabbing pain with back-left side specifically, and then my hip area. This last couple of weeks tight, stabbing piercing pain. Working with tens unit at the chiropractor and having the last three weeks of sessions, pain comes and goes now a days. Then, there is the consistent feeling of numbness/tinglingness feeling that is irritating/aggravating or very uncomfortable. I wake up and it's still there. Every now and then, I have pain when I bump into something or I am poked (by my students) trying to get my attention. I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy and have sleep aid but I still feel like I have fatigue when I get up.😩 I just feel like there's no relief in sight sometimes. I also feel like I don't have enough energy. Other symptoms: joint pain, brain fog, headaches later turn to migraine, sensitivity to noise, light, and different smells, blurred vision, TMJ, foot/leg cramps for daily walking at job, irregularities in bms, UTIs. Then, there is weird vision.... I see things like levitating or looking weird next to me (shorter and/or longer than they truly are). These things I have had on off for 20 years. Only recently have I thought I may have fibromyalgia. The thing is dealing with this and continue to work and try to be productive when my battery is needing recharged and no cables are available so to speak to get me recharged as I seem not able to figure out what can help with the numbness/tingleness feeling. Hope someone can understand what I'm saying.
Thank you to all for the helpful hints to what works with y'all! I appreciate the notes of insight!
I have not received diagnosis atm but my chiropractor says I have the majority of trigger points having issues.
Blessings💛

The only thing @SheenaOfTheJngl I found to work really well for my back pain (starting at the bottom-middle + travelling around the side) is a cream called rub on relief by living well nutraceuticals, I bought it from the healthy back clinic in Texas when I bought a few tubs of heal n smooth capsules and super joint support (the amount I suffered before that was incredible!) I used to put ice on my back in a plastic bag but it was only a momentary help, and I couldn’t even count the amount of times it was confused with a possible kidney infection, anyway everything in this cream is natural and it works really fast for me (I put it on my knuckles too cos my fingers hurt sometimes) but I have a lot of the above things you stated for around a decade and a half now 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🧚🏻‍♂️

Hi Sheena,

Welcome to the forum, and I hope we can be of help to you and support you. Many of us can relate to what you are saying.

I am curious that you mentioned narcolepsy and have a sleep aid but wake up feeling tired. Narcolepsy is a disorder in which a person falls asleep suddenly at any time in any place without warning, not a disorder in which one would get a medication to help them sleep, so what you say doesn't sound quite right. Are you sure of that diagnosis?

The chiropractor is not actually a person who can diagnose fibromyalgia. I love my chiro and have great faith in the practice if it is done by someone who is truly good at it, but they are not doctors qualified to diagnose something like fibro, which is a condition that is diagnosed by a process of testing and eliminating all of the other things that might be causing the symptoms. The pressure point test is outdated and inaccurate and people in the know never use it any more because it does not diagnose the disorder one way or the other.

I suggest that you go to medical doctors and have them test you for lupus, ME, MS, arthritis, and a host of other things that could be causing your symptoms rather than assuming that you have fibro. this is important because you might have something that is very serious, and you need to know; you also could have something for which there is a highly effective treatment and you need to know that. So getting those tests is at this point your first priority.

While your symptoms are consistent with fibromyalgia, they can also be symptoms of other things.

There actually is relief in sight, if you have fibromyalgia and if you dedicate yourself to following a lifestyle that will support your overall health and make those symptoms less. You can read my advice on this in the post that is "sticky" at the very top of the General Discussion forum. But first, find out if this is really what you have.

Thank you for the replies. I have had my nerves checked not sure what the procedure was called as it was 20+ years ago. I recently was told I do not have any pinched nerves-via x-ray. I have been checked for a few things and I know that I do not have crohn's or celiac disease (other tests I cannot remember)- yet I do have narcolepsy, metabolic syndrome, propensity to have poor reactions to molds, food sensitivities, and fatty liver. My sleep study was this summer, as they told I had narcolepsy. I understand there to be more than just one type of narcolepsy. I have sleep attacks during the day and have difficulties sleeping at night, as I wake frequently. So, meds were given to help get me to sleep and stay asleep. Although, I still feel fatigued even if I remember to take sleep aid or not. My chiropractor only told me about the different points and told me that my primary would be the one to check my blood work for markers-blood checked on Thurs. I have changed my diet and trying to stick to a sleep schedule. I have tried to find out why I'm having these issues, ruled out some, and still waiting for more results. My RN noticed I come in the clinic with same issues once or every other year. Then, sometimes with all or just some of the symptoms I explained in previous message. I do appreciate the advise and what may or may not work as I know we all may not have the same symptoms in the same intensities or areas. I have researched docs around my area and I found and have read reviews of a Dr. Rodger Murphree. Have any of you consulted with him? He mentions he has patients all over US. I am thankful for you all AND your knowledge!
Blessings💛

Thank you for naming a dr for us to check out @SheenaOfTheJng 🌟 a lot of us, even if we’ve had some kind of nights sleep still get the “hangover” feeling the next day and broken sleep is a common theme with fibro. I was experiencing bouts of narcolepsy a few years ago, then tests showed my thyroid had gone under and I was autoimmune in that area, also your medical practitioners sound like they’re doing everything they can to find out causes and answers for you which is amazing, in the meantime though take care, stay safe, and welcome again to the forum (if I’ve not already mentioned😊) 🧜🏻‍♂️🌊🧜🏻‍♀️

Ah, I see.
Thanks for letting me know that there are different kinds of narcolepsy. I guess I should have known that, but now I do. In the case of what you are describing, the sleep aid seems like a good idea. Guess I need to look up narcolepsy and learn more about it!

I wish you the best of luck in getting the tests and finding out more, if possible. And feel welcome to stick around here, and to let us know how things are going. We are here to help and exchange information and to support each other. :)

So, I was called and told I have 1 of 2 markers. Then, they needed me to come in and get more blood work done. They want to check my homocystine levels. My body has been weird in that I am going through numbness and tingling feeling most of the time now a days ... It use to be in just my lower back hip area. Then, my arms and legs were added to the mix these last few weeks more often... No, it's in my hands, some times my tongue, and the back of my neck. It intensifies when I move my hands (ex: pulling off/on clothes) or my body brushes up against something or I try to move around. I don't know how to explain it differently. Is anyone else going through this or have had experience with this? What do you do to get over it or help you when it's bothering you? Thank you all for the understanding and information and help with all of this!
I hope my thoughts are coming out clearly. Sometimes, it seems they do and then looking back on it or rereading what I type out-it seems to not. Thanks in advance! Blessing 💛

The lower back – also known as the lumbar spine – is a complex structure constructed of nerves, bones, and joints. For this reason, the area is prone to complications including lower back pain. Luckily your can buy a good mattress which can provide both instant relief and less risk of the back pain recurring. Organic mattress or Avocado mattress Review, if kept with extra care, you will be able to experience its quality. You can simply shop Organic mattress that fit your own home, pick out the best mattress to fit your needs and end up with the answer to a good night’s sleep.

That’s where I get a lot of my pain citrus sleep, I have a cream now makes it better. Your new to the forum I’ve not seen your name before (it sounds zesty: ) ) welcome and I hope you find it helpful ☕🍩

Is it just me being oversuspicious or does this read like an ad? ... Which would make the user-name ... oh wait ... duckduckgo ... Yep: red flag 🍅🏁- it's a shop name!
