Introducing - The How Are You Project

Thanks @JayCS for trying to think of the workarounds! I do not have a website of my own – however I can be reached on Facebook with my name Laura Rees

What a great way to help everyone!

Such a difficult thing to navigate - when do we cross over the boundary of what people want to hear and what we want to say?

It's interesting that @JayCS and I were just talking about this. It seems to us that there might be different "tolerances" for personal information among different cultures in addition from person to person...

If I can add something to your project, I would be happy to help.

Best wishes with it!
Thanks so much for your support! It would be great to have you on board – just trying to get messaging capability here!

I completely agree that there are different tolerances for sharing email addresses – I relate on both sides to be honest, it's good to be able to protect people on the site, but it's slightly long winded also for purposes such as mine!

In the meantime I really hope everyone is enjoying their Sundays! I sincerely hope this is an extremely frustrating to read!

Possibly just one or two more? Apologies everyone for this tediousness!
maybe try telling us a little bit more about your project, just in shorter posts?
that way there is valid content, in addition to adding to your post counts ;)

Oh! I didn't mean emails 😅. I was just referencing how in some cultures people are apt to ask for more personal details about how you are doing, and are more vulnerable with their emotions. Regarding emotional vulnerability, in some cultures grief is something you express together and freely in public, but in others we don't do it so freely it seems. I thought your project was about sharing about our health challenges with others and so I went from there.

@Laura79 , I think it would be good if you posted more about your project, and answered some people's questions rather than just posting one line, and please don't just post emojis.

There is a content factor as well as number of times you post. Chat with some of us here about what you are doing. I am sure some of us would like that. I would like to know what you are doing, even though I do not want to participate in the survey.

Many thanks @JayCS , @cookiebaker and all! Absolutely go ahead and ask me any questions – I feel I posted quite an in-depth introduction to the project in the first post, so I don't want to repeat myself – I recently made a simplified summary of the project, as I am aware that many people with energy limiting conditions/brain fog etc, might struggle with extended explanations and sentences. So I'll post that below here. My focus is absolutely to reach the people that would be interested in participating (NB this is a participatory theatre project and not a survey).
Also, just to say that I am not always able to respond immediately, as I am managing my own workload as well as MS symptoms. But very happy to hear of anyone's interest – and ultimately be able to message privately to share more details about how you can join!
