I will also get sudden pain on both sides of my spine....like a spasm that comes and goes.

Yes! especially on the left side. Feel like I got beat up. Hurts more with large breaths also. From neck to shoulders and arms down both sides of my spine and lower back and hips.

If any of you are affected by low pressure or windy days, what kind of pain does it cause?

I think my biggest problem is this crappy Midwest weather! Fronts in and out constantly and just increases my pain that much more. Feel half-human only when the barometric pressure stays real high for a while.

Have you ever had your flare just end all of a sudden?

Keeping busy is the only thing that takes my mind off the pain for a bit. What do you take for the pain? Also when you flare, do you also feel ill?

Does anybody's reflux symptoms cause constant sore throat and headache? Also overall back pain and just feeling ill? If so, besides meds what have you found relieves it?

Do any of you have bad pain when in a flare from head to toe and all of a sudden it's gone for a couple hours or a day then is just as suddenly back again??

Does any of you feel pretty good once you get moving in the morning, then by mid afternoon to evening the pain just progresses? You fool yourself thinking that maybe it's not so bad then by evening it comes back with a vengeance. That's been my experience lately.

I too have had about a 6 month flare with extreme shoulder, arm and back pain under my scapula, milder on the right side. Reaching behind me for anything is excruciating. It used to only flare up a couple winter months but now it's continuous. Is yours something like that?

Anyone have severe pain under their scapula and down the shoulders to the back and top side of the arm? Hurts to stretch or even lift arms sometimes.seems it starts every winter but this time it's hurt for at least 5 months.

I thought I was the only one that was affected by windy days! Sounds crazy, but it's true.

Thanks everybody for your great responses. Have any of you also ever have problems with internal hemorrhoids along with your IBS? If so, how long did you suffer with that and did you change any of your diet?

Can some of you tell me if part of your fibromyalgia symptoms include IBS and what those symptoms involve? Also, has your IBS caused hemmoroids or other problems? Is it a constant or interrmitant problem like when you're experiencing a flare?
