    Lyme disease

Hi mirador Thanks for your reply. I had the first test here in Canada but it came back negative. The canadian test is well known for its false results. Unfortunately the Canadian medical system does not accept tests from outside the country and that is the problem because I already have a...

Hi minilandrover Thank you so much for all the information you provided, that was very informative. I never had the bite mark. But I do have some of the symptoms and the positive test done by Armin Labs which is the top rated lab for this testing. Unfortunately the ELISE test in Canada came back...

My Doctor Confused Me About Diagnosis-1st Post

It could be Fibromyalgia but don't accept it just because your dr says so. I was diagnosed with it last fall but did not accept fully as there were some things that didn't fit exactly. I have recently discovered that I have Lyme disease and the symptoms I have also match partially with this and...

    Lyme disease

Thanks for your reply. I have some of the Lyme symptoms and these are the same symptoms they diagnosed as Fibromyalgia in Oct. The Canadian Lyme test is know for not being very good and it does give a false negative more often than it should. I have blood tests that indicate that I am fighting...

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in Oct. 2019. I have recently started to work with a new fantastic naturopath and have tested positive for Lyme Disease but the test was done at Armin Labd in Germany, and the Canadian Medical system does not accept those results. I have subsquently tested in...

Ongoing symptoms for 8+ months and no diagnosis

Your symptoms sound like fibromyalgia but there are many other autoimmune illnesses that have these symptoms. Arriving at a Fibro diagnosis is a ruling out of other illnesses. I got hit with Fibro symptoms suddenly over a year ago and was diagnosed last Oct. I have been riding the wave, up and...

    So much pain....

I have tried CBD oil but it did nothing for me. I have a hard time absorbing stuff thru the digestive system because of digestive problems. I am currently trying CBD cream but not sure yet if this is working. I have heard from various people that CDB oil helps with the pain but smoking pot is...

Denial and frustrated over new fibromyalgia diagnosis

I have only had Fibro for a year and its been a bad one, but as everyone says here, you have worse days and better days. The trick is to balance your life, give up being superwoman and take self care. Ask for help when you need it. You need to learn to manage your illness and your symptoms. I am...

Your symptoms are all over the place, it sounds like it could be Fibromyalgia. I have been researching this illness and trying different things. I believe there is a strong correlation between digestive problems and fibromyalgia. My naturopath is currently working with me to improve digestive...

    Trying to cope with fibromyalgia

I feel your pain. My worst problem area for pain are my neck, shoulders and arms although I also get the migrating pains in other areas. I have yet to have a pain free day since this started. From all the reading I have done, people on drugs are still in pain. I am starting to realize that...

    Trying to cope with fibromyalgia

Try physiotherapy, massage therapy to help relax your muscles, relaxation like meditation and yoga. I found high doses of good quality magnesium malate, vitamin d with D3 & K2 and B12 injections all helped me. But movement is very important if difficult.
