    Greetings from a new member. I have been trying to get info on cell mast syndrome for my histamine problems. I read that DAO is a supplement that helps to block histamine. Anyone out there have a success in treating this please let me know.

    Hi Janny, and welcome! I have MCAS, know just "a little bit" about all that stuff ;-P. I use DAO if I'm getting a histamine-y flare from food, it reduces the histamine from food, not from other sources like mould etc. But if our histamine "buckets" are full, and food comes on top, then it does help altogether.

    In my case the histamine reaction to food isn't a gut reaction, it's often my sinuses, and still this is helped by DAO. I use 3,000,000 NATURDAO, cos it's vegan and has only cellulose as filler.
