After reading the posts about prednisone and doing some research of my own I stopped taking it. I took it for 10 days and now am not sure why the rheumatologist even prescribed it as I do also have osteoporosis. I will discuss it with him at my next visit.

Thanks for your reply Siderea, I will look Prednisone up, now you have me worried. I go back to see the rheumy in 5 weeks. He said the prednisone shouldn't be harmful because it is such a low dose. Thanks again....now I need to find out more about it.
