  • Hi, I'm new here. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2014. I didn't accept it for awhile as I had a rotary cuff injury previously and then developed frozen shoulder from which I have fully recovered. So when I began to have severe pain under the should blade I believed it was related to the injury. My family physician diagnosed Fibromyalgia but the specialist who had treated my shoulder said it was not related to the injury and doesn't believe in Fibro. A hospital emergency visit for pain, thinking it was a pinched nerve.......Doctor there said Fibro. A physiotherapist said it was my posture and the doctors were incorrect because there is no such thing as Fibro. I was so confused. Then pain spread elsewhere, the fatigue, the triggers such as weather, stress etc. Accept it now and unable to do much physically most days. Completely life changing isn't it? Trying to learn more of the things "might" help.
