I saw your post about meds during pregnancy. I am 29 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed w FMS last October. I took trazadone to sleep until I was diagnosed--the dr told me to take 100 mg a night. I have done quite a bit of research and if the benefits outweigh the potential risk it is apparently quite safe. It's good for FMS because it helps you have a good sleep. I also take Flexeril when needed, but I have to take 20 mg for it to have effect, and that dose puts me right to sleep.
Have you heard of Motherisk? They offer advice on drugs and pregnancy. I called and was assured both medications were safe to take. The only non-medication for pm that works for me is walking in nature, yoga, and acupuncture with an experienced dr. I hope that you find this helpful. It's hard to manage the FMS pain while pregnant and I don't know how I would have made it this far without the help of those two meds. How you are doing now? When is your due date?
