    Emotional effect

There's no doubt that Photo Sensitivity can increase with age just like a lot of other challenging issues do & mine increased post-Fibro Diagnosis but not sure if that's directly linked with it or not. I have to have my spectacle lenses tinted because of it just to take the edge off.

Yes that's what I mean, we need one for sure.

There should be a 'Hug' Emoticon available on this forum, I reckon we all need one & I would have used it a lot.

It is of some comfort to know that others with Fibro are experiencing similar emotional/psychological reactions, so a sincere thank you to everyone who have expressed such feelings as it isn't easy to speak of. I was diagnosed with FMS 13 years ago now but even after diagnosis I previously...

    Emotional effect

As regards TV, my sensitivity has now got to the point that despite 'self-editing', even some trailers for future programmes &/or adverts can cause me discomfort and I suspect seeing disturbing images etc may even be connected to the nightmares I seem to be getting prone to. Am even considering...

We seem to be kindred spirits. I have to be very careful what I watch on TV too, as I'm so emotionally open & vulnerable, so have to 'self edit'. I've described it as metaphorically having no skin on. Am not sure if it's Fibro-related, an age thing, previous traumatic experiences taking their...

I confess I have to struggle sometimes to keep my Inner Child inside & am finding the older I get, the more I seem to struggle with that, or maybe I'm just approaching my dotage lol.

    Women: vulvodynia relief

Thank you SBee, I'll keep that as a reserve option but I don't have a Sainsbury's anywhere near me & not sure if I'd risk it, as being prone to adverse chemical reactions I've been advised to use only unbleached/Bamboo so it's specifically that I need to source, though not having any success so far!

    Women: vulvodynia relief

Thanks SBee. I asked yesterday about Bamboo Toilet Paper in the Ripon branch of Holland & Barrett which is quite a big branch but just got a head-shaking "No, sorry" in response. I'd be really grateful if you'd let me know if you ever do find it anywhere in the 'real life' shopping world...

    Women: vulvodynia relief

Thanks for checking that out for me. If anyone here in England want to give it a go... Holland & Barrett sell Coconut Oil & I can confirm that it gives instant relief.

I wear a bangle with that prayer on so I can read it whenever I need to but nevertheless, I still have a go at trying to change things & then comfort myself with the words 'God loves a Tryer!' :)

    Women: vulvodynia relief

I can highly recommend Coconut Oil for pain etc, it's miraculous how it instantly works but hadn't heard or even realised that White Toilet paper adds to the problem, though I had my suspicions. I'm not an online shopper as I struggle with Tech so can you/or anyone tell me if I can access/buy...
