I dont have fibro...so i cant really add to this thread... But I am touched by all your efforts to work...often it is so easy to just give up... Having a child to look after is probably the hardest thing when you are physically in pain...so my heart goes out to all you parents out there...

I too have a blog but i have not updated it in quite a while...When my daughter was small, i used to blog about her mostly...what she said..what she did..etc. Then I had my son..and you would think now I had more material to blog about..but no, I havent blogged about him at all... Wonder what...

WOW...I am completely with you. Ive been reading your comments on other threads..They are informative and encouraging. Thats the way to go... I dont know how some people live without something to believe in...what hope could they possibly have?

I think i was diagnosed with IBS long back...but i am not sure....i had alternating diarrhea and constipation....i still do sometimes...but its not as bad as it was many years ago. This post is really informative. Thanks.

Oh...and Star trek used to be my fav show on Tv back in the 80s...when we had only 1 channel in India called Doordarshan...and it was the official channel....Sunday mornings were dedicated to Star Trek ... Much later I found the X-files irresistible....esp David Duchovny :)

I like sci-fi too...but dont watch it much on TV...with the kids around, I dont get to watch anything I like anyway..... Occasionally I'll catch a movie like X-men or Jurassic Park....and dream about it for days :) TV is now more for cook shows, or reality tv or even contests...

Everyone...i mean just about everyone!...does this....We use the power of imagination to take us to far away places...lead different lives..and somehow get away from reality... I love to travel but in 8 years of marriage we have only had 2 short trips...and that too to visit relatives... So yes...

I feel for you...esp when you talk of the weather. I live in India...and its summer time...and getting soooo hot! You know what they say about the grass being greener on the other side...I wish i could see some snow..but in Kerala we dont even have a winter season! Hope you are feeling...
