  • (3) My husband sets up the couch for me so I can have the 60' tv to watch and I everything I need with arms reach. He helps in me there before he leaves for work and I stay in here till its time for bed. He even makes sure there is something for lunch in the fridge. I'm glad your friends come by and watch tv with. That is great! Since I have gotten bad my friends just kept living their lives and left me behind. I don't hear from them anymore. Makes me feel lonely. I use to live a very active social life. Makes it even harder. I don't have any hobbies besides tv and I have no talents. Lol. So happy our paths crossed ~ Brandy
    (2) But since I have gotten bad I can't do anything. I have always had health problems since I was a baby. I have had countless surgeries. I started hurting real bad couldn't explain l my symptoms. Had gone to numerous Drs and all kinds of tests ran. Had heard it was all in my head I don't know how many times. I couldn't pull myself outta bed I hurt so bad. I was passing out for no reason. Couldn't walk or keep balance, horrible migraines. Finally seen a Dr and did some test and other things and tod me I had fibromyalgia. I am now home hound. I have use a cane to get around. If I do venture out and it's long distance walking I have to use a wheelchair.
    Hi srhex!
I'm glad you wrote me back! You don't know how happy I am to find somebody my age and hear that you know how I feel. Alright with my fibro fog I can't remember how much I have said so I will say I am 34 and married. He was my high sweetheart. We have been together 18yrs. Been married 15yrs. We have 3 kids. They 14,12,11. They all are great. Every single one of them are supportive. I don't know what I would do without any of them. Each of them help out in a different way. I'm so glad to hear you have a supportive husband. With this disease it would be hard to live without a support system. I'm sorry to hear that you had to pull out on the adoption tho. Hopefully someday that will change. God willing. I have never worked I have always been a stay at home mommy. I have always been very involved in my kids school and sports. I was that very annoying room mom and team mom. Lol You know the type.
I was just reading your story you had written on to somebody and it was like reading my own story. I am 34 yrs old. I was just diagnosed in September of this year. I just wanted to drop by and say Hello.
