    Fracture - Recovery

Hi Ninjamom Sounds very similar to my experience, in terms of.. lack of healing. For the first 3 visits to the fracture clinic, there was little evidence on the xrays of any collagen build up. I've still got (or been left with) strange dark patches in a couple of places near the injury. One...

    Fracture - Recovery

Hi NWgrl69 What have you fractured? How long ago? My vertebrae breaks were avulsion. I remember nights being the worst time. Couldn't get comfortable, got weird spasms, and yes, far more painful at night. No idea why. Maybe because the body does more healing during sleep?? I got no advice...

    Which Mattress?

For me... it has to be soft and no foam due to menopause heat. Latex is great but so expensive. . I'm a side sleeper and find that a firm mattress hurts my joints. I use the lightest weight duvet i can find. Aside from that.. 5htp or L-tryptophan!

Hi Anne I'm interested in anything that might help! I've read up about myofascia in the past. Could you explain what actually happened during a session and how many you had to have? Thanks

no aches or pain for past six weeks

I would like to say thank you to both JohnnyXS and Sunkacola for your interesting posts. I'm sick to death of the 'share it without knowing the background' mentality of many sites.. Facebook being the main culprit. It's refreshing to read stuff that is passionate and well researched for a...

    Fracture - Recovery

Hi all. New here. Put off joining in the past due to brain fog etc. I am looking for advice from anyone with fibro who's suffered a broken bone. I recently fell from a height and broke my fibula (skinny long bone of lower leg) and 3 lumbar transverse processes (the sticky out bits on your...
