Hi all, I am:
Lalu and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (MBS) in 2009 and have had symptoms since I was about sixteen. I also have a diagnosis of BPD and Emotional Dysregulation, though over the years I have managed to gain enormous control over my symptoms!
A Brit who moved to Germany in late 2018 to live with and marry my lovely German (now) husband who is a constant and unerring support to me.
A visual artist and I love playing video games (mostly Elder Scrolls Online rn) painting, cooking, gardening (food growing) upcycling, sewing and generally being creative!
A big fan of the Sciences and have a keen interest in various subjects.
I'm here to, hopefully, get some support as I don't have anyone in my life who truly understands what it's like to live with Chronic Pain, and hopefully also get some feedback and support while I go through yet another round of trying new meds and seeing specialists - now that I am in Germany, I have to do all this again which tbh I am grateful for as the healthcare here is pretty good and I can't just give up on this!
