I'm always interested in alternative methods of healing. However, I have to be careful not to get my hopes up. The 1 thing I really dislike about the fibro monster is that what works for 1 person doesn't always work for another. Like I was told to go gluten free but it did nothing for me...
I've had this problem coupled with the same thoughts too. There are still times when I just seem to freeze in a sitting position and can't seem to will myself to move. It comes and goes but I found that Tai Chi and walking have helped me.
I'm sorry to hear about your new diagnosis. There's so much to learn. What makes it "worse" is that everyone really is different when it comes to symptoms and what works for us.
I love to do crafts! I've done both needlepoint and cross stitch in the past but have found that my passion is for plastic canvas. I love to draw things out then fill them in with yarn and come up with new creations.
Re: Work is effected by fybo
There's so much that's going to change but I don't think you should quit working until you must. Instead, try to learn new coping mechanisms to make your life easier and get as much rest as possible. Give yourself some time to adjust to the Dx and what it's going to...
I've actually slowed down quite a bit. I used to work for Habitat for Humanity now I spend most of my time online. I also used to read a lot of books now I don't read as much except for online.
I rarely leave the house anymore and I'm not even 40. Whenever I do go out I get so anxious it's ridiculous. As such, I really don't have any friends but my pets, my parents and my daughter.
There's so much out there it's hard to tell what's what. I think that each of us is going to find something different works for us. I'm glad you're finding what works for you.
Sorry to hear you had a rough night last night. I was doing great for a few nights then it hit me even though I took a sleeping pill. I hate the end of the week because that seems to be when I get the worst
