Undiagnosed and tired of being tired.

Femfatigued, It really gets under my skin when I am hurting so bad or I am describing the wonderful fibro fog I seem to stay in, and I am told "Welcome to the club; you're just getting older and forgetfulness and joint pain happens to all of us." and then it leads into an hour long list of all...

Undiagnosed and tired of being tired.

Femfatigued. I feel your pain all to well. I know what you are going through. I have practically the same issues as you do on the Rheumatologist situation. There are 2 that accept my insurance. One works at a hospital that I will never go to and the other accepted my insurance, but doesn't treat...

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

Thankyou Sunkacola. What you've said is very uplifting. I am learning quick to keep myself distanced from things and people that cause me anxiety. Cause I know that my anxiety leads me down a very nasty road of pain. Its hard but I am including family members in that, as well. I am having to...

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

Thankyou Jemima. I'll try not to be so hard on myself. As far as flares go...well, I live in constant anxiety and stress. Dysfunctional in an understatement when you refer to my family. LOL That's why I was wondering what was ahead of me as I read other experiences. I've come to the realization...

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

I just wondered cause I have only had maybe 1 or 2 days so far that I was actually in bed all day. I have pain all the time and I've noticed some things already like a few minutes ago we were taking down some decorations and my husband had taken down a banner I had intended to leave up for a...

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

Wouldn't that be wonderful for them to finally figure it all out. I read that article in the Guardian that just came out a few days ago. I think that once they decide that it is actually an auto immune disease, there will be new ways to treat fibro patients. And, won't that be sweet!??! I do...

    Swollen Salivary Glands

I would have them check for sjogren's syndrome. I had an abscess in one of my saliva glands and had to have surgery. All tests came back negative for me to have it, but that is definitely something to check on. Dry mouth and dry eyes are among other symptoms.

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

Yes. In my case, that is what happened. I went for my follow up appt and the dr had already closed my chart But, I did convince them to at least take more blood tests to rule out other things it could be. And, I officially got a fibro diagnosis. Although, sometimes, I still feel like there could...

Hi. I have all the trigger points pain & then some. Main pain is my lower back/legs right now. Having muscles spasms from the back of my knees all the way around and up my thighs. I also hurt really bad in my hips and lower back. I'm stiff as a board in my knees and my muscles just stay tight...

Was my fibromyalgia diagnosis too 'easy'?

Thankyou, Sunkacola. I have been in excruciating pain with no relief for over a year now. It seems like an eternity sometimes. I just want a peace of mind about what this truly is. I have a lot of other symptoms and issues going on with me that could lead to something other than fibro. And I've...
