Body rallies in the tough times

Just went through a crazy few days and my body is doing me some favours. We were on vacation (btw the very cold, dry Quebec is much more comfortable than cool, wet, Ontario) when my daughter had a dogsled accident and broke her ankle in 4 places. Add a blizzard to the mix and you get a 4 day, 3...

    self doubt and fibromyalgia

Do any of you struggle with self doubt around your own illness?? It's bad enough that we have to fight the stigma of an invisible illness, but I find myself playing mind tricks sometimes. So much in common

I have read so many threads and can relate to so much. It is apparent that we all have so much in common yet our experiences can be so personal. It is great to have such a forum, if not to seek out help but to know that we are not alone in our daily struggles. I wish everyone could have a...

I'm not trying to sell anything here, well not for personal profit. Anyway I bought a book called Women Living with Fibromyalgia by Mari Skelly. I feel like I want to scream from the rooftops! It's not my imagination! It's real! And all you people that look at me with a lifted eyebrow!!! Please...

    Summer

I know that weather changes in general make things harder on us - but has anyone been suffering more-so this Summer? I just feel like the stranger sides of my Fibro (along with the pain) have been exasperated lately...and you'd think warmer weather may help...but I'm not sure.
