I was wondering this as well. I would say it's quite possible, although I don't know for sure. My mom didn't start having this problem until her late 40's. She is now in her mid-50's. Age could definitely be a contributing factor. I have not heard of any case of a child or teenager being diagnosed with FIBRO, although those kinds of cases could exist.

I believe that age is more than just a contributing factor but let me look into it a little more and get back to you before I say anything for certain

No age is not a risk factor. Anyone can be affected.

Is this so? I really wasn't aware of that. I thought that FIBRO primarily affected people of a certain age. It is interesting to know that anyone can be affected. I am learning something new everyday on this topic.
