The electric shocks could be from small fiber neuropathy, which goes hand in hand with fibro. Ask your doc about gabapentin to see if that provides any relief. I still get excruciating random sharp stabbing pains on occasion throughout the day, but it has helped a bit with the nerve pain. Capsaisin cream helps some as well. Taking a good B supplement is another idea since B vitamins help regulate nerve function. Hope you get some relief soon. Hugs.
