This has been going on for about a month now. Can happen any time of day. Mostly in the morning. I feel it when I wake up. Tingling and maybe air bubbles under the left eye socket all across my face to the temple and it's numb or numb-like, too. It's driving me crazy. I told my Dr. who said it would probably just go away. Anyone else get this weird sensation on their face or near their temple?

Hi there! What kind of doctor are you seeing? Is it a rheumatologist or a neurologist? I ask because that sounds a lot like a neurological symptom and not a fibro one. I don't know if you have had a brain MRI done recently?

Hi Trayne91, I agree with Trellum it doesn't sound like Fibromyalgia, Maybe you should see a Neurologist. Are you under alot of stress beside the Fibro? Sometimes stress can do weird things. If I where you though I would talk to my doctor about seeing a specialist. Sometimes I get pain in my cheek bones but not like what you are describing.

Yes, it does seem like a neurological symptom more than a fibro one. That sort of numbness needs to be seen asap to try to detect what's happening with you.

I just seen my gp, rhuemotologist, neurologist, had an emg and brain mri. Everything told all clear. Gp says this will probably just go away. But it hasnt.

That's the issue with doctors, they test us and test us, they say it will go away, but it doesn't. Have you seen an alternative doctor?

yeah sometimes it feels worse. I have low vision problem from the childhood & sometimes it gives so much pain at any of time. I think you should take proper proscription for that.

I don't think that low vision is related to facial numbness piya, or were you experiencing that as well?

That is very weird, because it does not sound like fibro, it sound neurological, sounds like a neurological or a cardio problem almost like stroke or heart attack symptoms apart from the bubbles in the eye, I would check with a neurologist, it all sounds a complicated not to be taken lightly.
