Hello everyone, most of my body has been experiencing a lot of pain for last few years, the doctors don’t give me any answers, I have mentioned fibromyalgia a few times, all they say is it could be, have been to a rheumatologist, he said they were very weird symptoms & tried me on something, can’t remember the name, but they had know effect at all, have also tried lyrica , they made me very sick, so I stopped them after a week, have had cat scans on my mid section at one point about 6 months ago thinking i had pancreas problems, as i was having a lot of pain in my left flank area, they come up all clear, now have a lot of mid to high back pain, very sore indeed,i am open to any suggestions on pain reduction if possible, or any help really on even you view on what’s happening to me, feeling very worried & stressed about all this.
Thank you.

Mooji, hello and welcome to the forum.

the doctors don’t give me any answers,
Do you mean by this that there has been no actual diagnosis? Have you had a lot of tests for various things that could be causing this (arthritis, lupus, MS, etc)?
What kind of answers do you want to get from them?

he said they were very weird symptoms
What are the specific symptoms he said were weird?

i am open to any suggestions on pain reduction if possible, or any help really on even you view on what’s happening to me, feeling very worried & stressed about all this
My first suggesting is that you do everything....everything...that you can do to reduce the stress and worrying.
This is causing you more pain and more problems, and by worrying you are only making things worse for yourself. Now, I know it's hard just to turn it off. But do things that can help. Distract yourself! Get out into nature. Come here and vent if that will help. Tell us your worries so we can help. Remember that information is power, and we have a ton of information here in this forum from many different people.

Do things you love to do or think about a new hobby you can do. Tell yourself that you may as well not worry about something you don't even know for sure is going to happen. And that even if you have fibro it is not a death sentence or anything that terrible bnecause you can learn how to live with it and still have a life. We will help you with that, and be here for you to support you and encourage all your efforts in that direction. There are so many things you can do to help yourself.....you are not powerless.

We can't give you a view on what is happening because we are not doctors and any opinion we gave would be essentially worthless. But I can give you a whole lot of suggestions on things you can start doing right now that will help. Even if you don't actually turn out to have fibromyalgia they may help with whatever is going on with you.
You can start with this:

I am so sorry for what you are going through! It took two years, many tests and specialists and finally a referral to the Mayo in Florida where I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Don’t give up! I know it is exhausting and am sending strength your way.

Thank you! Everyone, at first about 5 years ago,my symptoms of pain in feet ankles, wrist & hands, & bad headaches at that time, would come only for an hour sometimes and then just drift away, or stay for 6 hours & drift away, that’s what the rheumatologist could not understand, he said he had never heard anything like it, but now the pain is so much worse & is basically rolling around my whole body, & barely get any relief, i have had bloods taken many times & found nothing, the only thing they picked up that i had antibodies to Epstein bar, that’s when i sorta thought Fibromyalgia!!
Wish i knew someway of relieving this pain though, all the regular Panadol & ibuprofen don’t touch it.
Thank you

One of the reasons pain varies that much is due to cortisol ("adrenaline") masking it (a sleep lab psychiatrist brought me on to that very helpful idea). Another is how much we've been doing beforehand or how strong & long other triggers were.
Is that worth looking into?

There is no magic bullet. But if you start trying the things I mention in my advice post you will find non-drug ways of relieving the pain. Yes, it takes more effort on your part than popping a pill. But it's worth it if you really want to find some long-term relief. I am not saying all the pain will be taken away. But you will feel better one way or another.

If instead you seek drug solutions, you may find that the only ones that work at all are addictive medications like pregabalin, (which has very serious side effects and is addictive), opioids or steroids, (highly addictive) and it is strongly advised you stay away from those. they are truly guaranteed to cause you more problems than you already have.

Thank very much for all the information you have shared, it is much appreciated 🙏
