These are the toxic or acid forming foods. They interfere with the bodies' ability to absorb minerals and nutrients. They also make the body susceptible to fatigue and illness. These are: coffee, soda, alcohol, white sugar, salt, artificial sweeteners, processed foods and gluten. If you partake any of those foods, increase water intake to flush out toxins.
 
Most acid foods actually turn into alkaline in the body, and the other way around. It's funny I read this, because today I saw the doctor, and she told me i need to consume things that make my urine more acid, so I don't get UTIs so often.
