This all started January of last year. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life. Also, in December in 2022 my mom died after I had taken care of her for the previous 3 years . I spent the next year trying to take care of all the things I needed to do as I was the executer of the will. After all that time in survival mode I guess my body just decided to say "I give up".
I don't have a definite diagnoses but my Dr. thinks its fibromyalgia. Last year wasn't too bad. Symptoms weren't too bad. But this year everything has ramped up. Pain, brain fog, fatigue, exercise intolerance etc. This is scary. I am alone and spend most of my time at home.

Hi @Sam72173 and welcome to the forum. We are glad you found us.
I know what it is to be alone. And it can help to know that even though we on this forum are not there in person we can understand what you are going through and we are here to help and support you in whatever way we can.

I also am familiar with the experience of being under a lot of stress for a period of time and then having my body sort of give up afterwards.

If you stick around here on this forum, reading of the experiences of others, it might help you to feel just the slightest bit less alone. And, please feel free to ask any specific questions you have about anything, and others will chip in and tell you what they think, offer advice if you want that, or tell you their own experience. You are also invited to come here and just rant and rave if you are angry and frustrated or ask for support and caring if you are afraid, and we will respond to you. I hope this place becomes something useful and helpful to you.

Welcome to the forums. I totally agree with @sunkacola . Hang around, drop in comments on any threads you feel inclined to, and share your troubles and good things too.

I found that to be around people who truly understand because they are actually "being there, doing that', the lack of needing to explain yourself and the non-critical support, it cannot be underestimated.
