gabapentin reaction

Hi , my history started with reiters syndrome about 25 years ago, had flare ups on and of and various drugs, I.e steriod injections, co, proxamol, naproxen.About 5 years ago was sent to rheumatologist for various blood tests he was unsure of r.s and diagnosed chronic pain syndrome. Gradually symptoms have worsened with cramps in hands , feet calves , hamstrings and buttocks, dull pain between shoulders, elbow , hip and knee pain andi.b.s.Doc now says its fibromylagia and prescribed gabapentin which has worsened symptoms and increased fatigue, any one else had same problem? Dave.

For myself, it didn't work, everyone has different
reactions. Keep note of what's going on. Good luck.

try another meds. there are only 3-4 meds fro fibro.

there is a thread going in "chronic pain" area regarding Gabo. It is a 50/50 chance, if it works for you it works great, if not then it will not ever.

I was given gaba 15 yrs ago when I first flared up. Pain was all over really bad and continued to worsen even after a full month on it.
Still no relief here. Still trying to find the right Dr.

Do you suffer from ibs , I get constant flare ups with severe discomfort in my back passage , skinreally tight
