Hello from Calgary

After being on a wait list for two years to see a rheumatologist, I finally got to see one today, and found out it isn't rheumatoid, or lupus, but it is fibromyalgia. So, I am starting a new journey, trying to learn and sort out what is going on, and what is in store for me on my journey.

Hello and welcome to the forum. If your looking for info on fibro, this forum is a great place to get started. If you like start asking questions and read a lot of the other members posts to learn about pain relief and different medications, and things that can be done at home to help you and your muscles relax. We are very supportive and try to answer questions as quickly as possible.

Be sure to read the older posts as well for I am sure there are many answers there that would give you new coping skills. Please answer other members posts as well as I am sure there are many things you can share about your own condition. There are many off topic posts, as well as, a place to vent.
