I am new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Stephanie and I am 28 years old. I have battled with a lot of symptoms for well over 10 years and within the last year I finally found a doctor that listened and sent me out to all kinds of specialists and for a ton of lab work. In the last year I have been diagnosed with vitiligo, psoriatic arthritis, svt, ibs, a pineal cyst, tmj, carpal tunnel in both hands, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. I also deal with anxiety and bouts of depression.
I have always been an over achiever, personally and professionally and within the last two years I have had to slow down...which is very very hard for me. I went from being a manager and going to college full time with an active social life and working out to now being a part time employee and having little to no social life. I've dealt with a lot of symptoms for a long long time, starting in my teenage years, but I have always been able to push through now I have very little push left and I am not even 30 yet.
I am here mainly just to vent and potentially understand more about fibro and how others cope with it.
