Hello I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I have been off work for the last month. My hands hurt so bad and I type all day at work, does the pain get better?

Welcome to the forum. Hmmm now that a tricky one , because Fibro pain moves. U can have painful hands for months and then one day it's gone and it's somewhere else.
But as your using your hands for your job ,this is going to make it much more painful.
I suffer hand pain a lot I get waves of it.what meds has the Dr put u on if any ?.

yes it does if you do things to reduce the pains and use meds or supplements.

as forget said it wont go away but it will move around and its all related to the nerves,muscles and our brains.
