Hello,
I was wondering if having knees that buckle is part of fibromyalgia.
I guess they are so weak that they buckle.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to figure out if this is something else I need to go have a look at instead of just blaming it on the FM.
Thank you!

Hello :) I have that issue sometimes but I don't know if its a fibro thing or a getting older thing LOL

Hi Sofiane,
Do you mean your legs sometimes give way? If so, then yes, this is part of fibromyalgia unfortunately. It very much defines the change in mobility fibromyalgia can cause.

Yes, that is what I mean.
I am actually relieved to hear that.
Thank you very much for the replies. I appreciate it !

thank you so much- I’ve had this happen too and couldn’t figure it out ... so v helpful to see this written down

In any case it sounds like it could hurt by stumbling, for which I watch out for it before it happens, making sure I'm prepared to absorb it and do gentle leg exercises regularly (if need be something like stretching and/or tensing for a minute every half an hour or so, whilst doing something else). Also only wearing safe footwear to be sure.
