KW's not been around for a month, but just in case & for others I want to add that amitriptyline was the only med that I could tolerate for any length of time, altho I had to take the first dose down to 2mg, because 10mg gave me a splitting headache. After 4 months I had 9 side effects and was very pleased to wean it off, after having installed a few other hacks for better sleep. Didn't help for pain at all, just made me more drowsy & numb at night, but also day, which hindered analyzing & self-caring etc..
