Since starting menopause omg things are so much worse.i can't walk around the town with my handbag on my shoulder without being in so much pain ,I had to end up carrying it like a baby..I was aware I was getting looks of ...that women don't know how to hold a handbag.

I got myself a belt bag recently. You might want to try that. If you wear it around your waist or hips it won't cause pain.

Yeah, good if we're able to (learn to) act according to our needs with pride, not shame.
I stick out like a sore thumb cos I am a sore thumb. (y)

I feel you! a belt bag or cross body bag helped me even the load. And also trying to do with only the necessities, even though I need all my meds on me at all times 🙄 But I found a great travel med case on Amazon, holds a ton of meds in a small case. Perfect.
Wishing you good luck on your menopause fibro journey and know you’re not alone
