Hi,
I was diagnosed with Fibro/CFS in Sept 2002 after a viral infection that lasted 3 months. I also found out I have had a genetic immune deficiency since birth. I am being treated by a pain specialist for chronic pain and a doctor who specializes in Fibro/CFS. Despite having good doctors I am bedridden many days and had to leave a great career and go onto SSDI.
I am the mother of twin 9 year old girls and I am expecting another baby the end of this year. The pregnancy was a bit of a surprise because I had been told I was unable to have any more children. I seem to have improved slightly since becoming pregnant, but my doctor is warning me there is a high probability it will return even worse than before after I deliver.
Day to day life is extremely challenging and I require a great deal of help to get by. Thankfully my family and children are very supportive and understanding. I am always looking for ways to improve my quality of life and relieve or decrease some of the symptoms.
