I am now using those kind of ear protected you see guys wear when working to protect their hearing
It's a bit bulky, but they help me tolerate household noise. Funny, Husband is deaf, he tells me I need to get his attention if I want to talk to him, I'm sorry but I'm not doing that, it frustrates me to no end to have him holler, so now he can get my attention right? .

try the ear plugs from the gun range. much better and less bulky. yes your right. why would he need your attention if he dont want you?

Yep hanging in there! I wear the foam ones during the day, and industrial when he's home.
