Sensation of falling?

Hello I AM new to FM forum but have been diagnosed since 2007.
Has anyone exeperienced the feeling of falling back while doing a task ?

I often have the sensation like I am going to fall over or like I am walking sideways when walking a straight line.

It's so embarrassing....I could be at the cash to pay and feel as if I'm falling backwards and people look at me strange...

Yes! Happens quite a bit. It's not a good feeling

Don't worry, you're not alone. This happens a lot to me. I've just ordered a t shirt that says "I'm not drunk, I have fibromyalgia"! It can be disconcerting but once you accept that it's going to happen it's easier to deal with.
