So I’ve had no ops I’ve not hurt myself ,but my shoulders hurt really bad,
I can’t even sleep on the left side.
Tired hot baths
Tramadol
Heat packs
Massage.
Nothing helps .
Yes I’m stressed atm but this is new level pain.
Any tips I’ve not tired I’d be grateful x

Have you tried a TENS machine? sometimes that's the only thing that helps me.
And, of course, focusing on reducing the stress as best you can will probably help too.

Hay sun .I’ve had one before .but I guess it’s worth a try.x can I ask how long u need on this site xx

I am not sure what you mean. But if you mean how long do I have to have the TENS unit on my body, it varies; I think usually between 10 minutes and a half an hour. But I have never actually timed it or kept track. I just leave it on there for a while and take it off when it feels better.

I think it's worth a try. I was wary at first but then I had PT and the therapist used one on me and it sure made a difference so I bought my own.

Magnesium rub
lyrica ? my neurologist prescribed this idk 🤷🏼‍♀️if its for everyone though lots of negatives about it / it turns the volume down for pain and also stopped night spasms

definitely Tens machine - i use almost daily when im struggling
vit b12 shots
check for anemia and thyroid problems
cold pack / frozen peas for inflammation
rest
light stretching exercises
a ukelele - this seems to be helpful at taking ny mind elsewhere !!!

wishing you all the best from one fibro 🤗to another

sorry just reread - maybe ukelele later on when shoulders better- also if you in uk ask to be referred to a pain pharmacist specialist and physio
have you had c19 ? Ive gad antibodies blood test and tested positive and they think the c19 can affect joints. Its worth considering..

Also no blame - no judgment I find helps.
I found myself blaming myself for having fibromyalgia... it’s noone’s fault !

All the best

I also have pointed pain on the left side near shoulder blade and which makes the hand muscles also pain. With certain movements of hand on left side, it feels as if the left side elbows and triceps feel very achy as if I have to stop that movement. Sleeping on left side or flat on back is a problem. Seems more like a muscle pain than nerve pain. Cannnot say for sure.

I have issues with C4 C5 C6 parts on MRI. DDD and left foraminal narrowing, etc

Diagnosed fibromyalgia, but I am concerned with this left side shoulder pain now. I am male 54.

What kind of doctor have you consulted, and what did they say?
You might try a chiropractor if you have not already. A really good one can help with many things, not just back pain specifically. sometimes chiropractic adjustment results in ease of pain in the extremities, because the source is a squeezed nerve higher up the neurological chain.
Also, if you have issues with cervical vertebrae, a chiropractor can help with that. My issues are in the low back, and I have an excellent chiropractor who is of benefit to me.

Consulted pain doctor and rheumatologist.
Started with chiropractor yesterday . Looks like pain is slightly increased . Will go for follow up sessions

Sometimes pain increases but it doesn't mean that the wrong thing is being done. sometimes it means things that were frozen up, so to speak, are getting loosened and there's pain with that, but in the long run it will help. Of course, I don't know if that's happening with you or not. I hope you do get relief from some of the things you are trying.
