I have Fibromyalgia and my eyes have become very dry, irritated and sensitive to bright lights. I am also having problems with vision fluctuations. I am having a problem with the skin on my face and my eyes and mouth feeling like I have been in fiberglass insulation. It is making me crazy, my eye doctor gave me a gooey lubricant to put in my eyes at night, but I didn't notice any change. I use a lot of artificial tears all day but it doesn't help either. I think I may have chemical sensitivity's too, although not diagnosed. Has anyone found relief for these problems either with prescriptions or home remedies? I would appreciate any help!

I have problems with dry eyes too. I always have to have eye drops handy.

I have dry eye's also, I have a tiny sore on one eye lid that keeps coming back. It is itchy and I have to keep putting ointment on it.

Moist washcloth on eyes every now and then helps. Also try to increase moisture in the air with humidifier.

Wha t did the Dr give you for your skin , sounds like dermatitis to me.

KarenV,
Another suggestion concerning your skin is that you maybe allergic to a medication you are taking. You might want to talk to your family doctor or see a skin specialist just to be on the safe side. Chemical burns are possible from medication. I suffer from dry eyes and use eye drops for that condition. I am glad your seeing your eye doctor as sometimes we can have other eye conditions that have nothing to do with having fibro. Good luck! :)
