Yeah, actually it stresses me even more when they do that. Because sometimes I'm calm and relaxed, but they like to pretend they can see what's going on inside my mind that very moment. So they often assume I'm either stressed out or scared and I need to relax. Yeah, like telling you to relax actually had effect on you, right? :lol:I hate being told this, too... doctors, nurses, dentists... they all seem to think that people should be able to "relax" at will. Some people just have "white coat syndrome" and telling yourself that you're going to "stay calm" simply doesn't work because it's not the kind of thing we're able to control. :neutral:
Ah... this week I've to see two different doctors... I hate going to the doctor... last time I saw that doctor I left her office sobbing uncontrolably. Long week... can't wait until this is finally over!
