to work or not to work

Hi gang, been diagnosed with fibro since 2007. Been at the same job for over 25 years but to young to retire. Only very recently have gone part time.
My doctor has put me on a gradual return to work. ive now been off all week. so this plan is not working... major flare up, pain and exhaustion .fighting with insurance company. getting depressed. Husband trying to be supportive but I see the frustration.

Have you had any medical imaging? Have you asked your doctor about work restrictions?

I ask about work restrictions because having those in your work file can support issues higher ups might have with your productivity and protect you from being let go for your inability to perform the job to their satisfaction. If they must let you go, having the doctor's restrictions on file might support your firing not being your fault and help with unemployment benefits.
